Preamble

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to room reservations and additional services made at Château La Bruguière. They are those in effect at the date of confirmation of your reservation on the various sites offering our services. They cancel and replace all previously published and/or accepted general terms and conditions of sale by the customer. They are deemed to have been read and accepted by the customer at the time of their online or telephone reservation.

Duration and Conditions of Stay

The client signing the contract must be over 18 years of age. They conclude the contract for the duration determined in their reservation and may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises. In the event of a desire to extend the stay, this will be done in consultation with the provider depending on availability.

During high season and public holidays, stays are a minimum of two nights. To preserve the tranquility and silence of the domain, this place is reserved for adults. Guests are required to respect all furniture and objects on the premises. The Client undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition and to declare and assume financially any damage, broken, or lost items for which they are responsible.

Smoking Ban

For everyone's comfort, smoking is strictly prohibited in the guest rooms and common areas. We thank you for being very vigilant when smoking outside for safety reasons.

Internet Access

Château La Bruguière provides its guests with wifi internet access throughout the establishment. The client agrees that the computer resources made available to them will not be used for fraudulent or illegal purposes, including committing any acts of infringement of third-party rights, hacking, and/or illegal downloading protected by copyright or neighboring rights as sanctioned by the Intellectual Property Code. The choice to use Château la Bruguière's wifi is entirely the responsibility of the client and releases the provider from any liability regarding its use.

Pets

Our furry friends are not allowed.

Access to the Natural Swimming Pool

This natural pool is accessible every day during the opening period (from May to October depending on the weather). Swimming is unsupervised and the pool access is limited to registered Clients.

It is a biological pool whose ecosystem does not tolerate sunscreen (like rivers). We reserve the right to prohibit access in case of doubt about water quality. In general, guests undertake to scrupulously respect all instructions and guidelines from the owner regarding access to and use of this area.

Accommodation capacity

The contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of clients exceeds this number, or is not in accordance with the terms of the reservation, the provider may refuse additional clients. This refusal cannot under any circumstances be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of departure of a number of clients greater than those refused, the price corresponding to the cost of accommodation remains with the provider.

Personal Data

In accordance with Law No. 2018-493 of June 20, 2018, regarding the protection of personal data and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the customer is informed that the information provided during the reservation is subject to processing of personal data for the management of reservations and clients, billing and payment needs, as well as for commercial prospecting.

The provider declares to have taken out, with an insurance company, specific guarantees for "bed and breakfast and furnished tourist rentals", the description and policy number of which can be provided upon request.

The customer is responsible for all damages caused by them or their accompanying persons under their responsibility. They must therefore check whether their main home insurance contract provides for vacation extension (holiday rental). The customer certifies being covered by civil liability insurance covering their own liability and that of the persons accompanying them. However, the provider and/or their insurance company reserve the right to hold the customer liable in the event of damage, malicious acts, and/or negligence on their part.
