The place where you stay is a bit like a second home. It reflects our tastes, our personality and our way of life. Choosing a place is much more than a question of budget or location. It's a question of values.
Let's start at the beginning: what exactly is a boutique hotel or bed and breakfast? There is no strict definition, but it can be thought of as the opposite of a hotel chain.
It's always an intimate, human-scale establishment, with a warm, personalised welcome. Most of them are located in old, characterful buildings, with unique, elegant decor, whether contemporary or not. These places have a soul. They make you feel welcome and appreciated.
What's more, these charming places support the local economy while respecting environmental values: they employ people who live nearby, and favour short circuits and artisanal products. The furniture is often second-hand, upcycled and carefully designed. The recommended activities are chosen with heart and are always sincere.
If you're looking for a little extra soul and a unique, elegant atmosphere, forget the hotel chains. Let yourself be tempted by a stay in a bed and breakfast or a charming boutique hotel.

If you choose our estate, it's because you feel closer to the aesthetics and spirit of a charming establishment than a traditional hotel. That's the case: here, we strive for beauty and goodness, so that you can slow down, breathe and feel. In complete tranquillity. Just like in a boutique hotel, we'll take care of you, without being pushy. We'll be there to answer your questions, but not to force you into conversation. Discreet, but available.
We have an eye for detail. That's why we've opted for soundproofed rooms, high-quality hotel beds, linen and silk duvets, and organic skincare products in every bathroom. The rooms are cleaned daily.
Add to that the generous spaces, perfect for letting go. Three large lounges and an outdoor patio for summer breakfasts are at your disposal. The first lounge has tables for breakfast on cooler days or for meals you choose to improvise yourself. The second has a pool table and chess board. As for the third, it is designed to allow you to watch films on a giant screen, just like at the cinema. There are also outdoor relaxation areas: sun loungers by the natural pool, picnic tables and aperitifs in the park, facing the foothills of the southern Cévennes.
Authentic, refined spaces that add to the spirit and comfort of the place, in addition to your room, just like in a charming hotel.
At Château la Bruguière, we are far from simply offering you a room in a guest house. Our aim is to give you the chance to spend a dream holiday in a charming setting, in a guest house dedicated to rejuvenation. So that you can take full advantage of the light and sunny scents of the Occitanie Provençale region.

In France, a guest house can only accommodate five bedrooms. A real guarantee of tranquillity. Breakfast is always included, which is not usually the case in hotels. At Château la Bruguière, we take great care over it, choosing local produce at the very least, preferably organic and always in season. Of course, we don't have as many staff as a hotel. That's why we provide you with a fridge, a coffee machine with unlimited coffee, tea and herbal tea, as well as a kettle and fresh water. To make your picnics as pretty as they are pleasant, plates, glasses and cutlery are available for self-service in the lobby lounge.
For an aperitif in the sunshine, the Cave Coopérative des Vignerons de Tornac is opposite our estate. Enjoy the sunset over the Cévennes.
In short, Château La Bruguière is a charming guest house where every object is chosen with care, every breakfast is designed for the eye and the palate, and every attention is dedicated to you. A place with a soul, respectful of its environment, where you can stay freely, in comfort and tranquillity.
